For Maths Week, the 6th class participated in a maths-based murder mystery and a maths-themed escape room. Both activities challenged the students to apply their mathematical knowledge to uncover clues, crack codes, and solve the mystery. The children were encouraged not only to use the maths skills they’ve already learned but also to employ critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to work through the puzzles. These interactive activities allowed them to collaborate, think creatively, and deepen their understanding of how maths can be applied in real-world scenarios.
