1st, 2nd & 3rd classes collected money for Cancer by taking part in "Be a Dancer for Cancer" last week. They did various dances including one where they had to balance a piece of paper on their heads.

Some of our classes got to go to Kilkenny College to see the huge amount of tractors involved in their annual tractor run.

The Model School had 3 teams, 2 boys and 1 girls, in the  County Primary Schools badminton competition. There were 8 schools, 27 teams and over 100 competitors.

We had another very successful Easter Sale and funday in school today. All proceeds will be sent to Kokwe School in Zambia. There was a lot of sweets, buns toys and books on sale.

St Mary’s U15 B team made it to the league final on Sunday. They were the only st. Mary’s team to get to the final this year.

Bella received 1st prize for her Clarinet in the Kilkenny Music Festival.  Angus and Bree, were also prizewinners in the brass section. Well done to all that participated.

Thank you to Noah from Colaiste Pobail Osrai who came to sing with us today as part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations. Noah asked the children questions in Irish and performed songs for them.
