Head lice infection is common in the community; the peak age for infection is 7-8 years. When two heads are touching for a minute or more, the lice climb rapidly through the hair from one head to another.

DUE TO ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE (HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS) THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY 30th NOVEMBER TO FACILITATE ESSENTIAL WORK ON THE TREES ON THE SCHOOL PREMISES.

Garda Andy Neill came to visit our school today and gave two talks to the children. He spoke about cycling and winter safety to the children from Junior Infants to 3rd class.

We have a lot of happy children today with books purchased from Khans Book Fair held in our school.

We had a great assembly today from Senior Infants with Ms McLoughney. They  spoke in Irish about themselves and their favourite things. They thanked God for their talents.
