Generally known as "The Model School", Kilkenny Church of Ireland National School was founded in 1856 and is located in a fine modern school building just off the Castlecomer Road in the medieval city of Kilkenny.

Welcome back to all the children and staff and a very warm welcome to our new Junior Infants. We hope you all enjoyed the lovely summer.

School Activities
At The Model School we offer a variety of different sports and activities. Sports include swimming, soccer, hurling, rugby and basketball and there are regular school trips and outings, theatre visits, concerts and much more.
