With Christmas just around the corner we looked at the Post Office as our integrated learning theme for the last 2 weeks. The children loved the picture books – The Jolly Postman and Dear Santa , and we used them as a way to further explore the theme.  Junior Infants painted and designed their own stamps, played in The Post Office, built post boxes using unifix cubes, made playdough parcels and post vans and filled out countless passport and dog licence forms.
