We tried out another experiment in class today. We had to get the pepper to jump off the plate without touching it with our hands. We had a chat about blowing the pepper, knocking it with our feet, someone even suggested licking it up – yuck. Lucky for the class, teacher had some balloons ready and we used them to create static electricity and it made the pepper jump off the plates.
