First we taked about where our noses, eyes etc are on our faces.

Then Mrs. Patterson gave us some tips about drawing faces and hair.

When we were finished our portraits, Mrs. Patterson gave us each six stars.

Five people in our group wrote a nice compliment on each star and then we wrote something we liked about ourselves on the other star.

Finally, we stuck them around our portraits.
