Learning about Halloween and engaging playfully with this theme in Aistear throughout integrated learning time. We turned our Role Play tent into a fancy dress shop and the children loved coming into the shop as customers and trying on the different costumes for sale. Our water table became a potion station complete with cauldrons and funnels and red bubbly water. We made pumpkins at the art and crafts area and added them to our pumpkin patch display board.  The construction group made haunted castles, spooky houses and even a jail for some creepy monsters! The children really enjoyed this topic and played together so nicely.
