This month in Aistear all the infants are learning about water and measures. We have turned the role play corner into a Laundrette – fully equipped with a state of the art washing machine, a pile of clothes for folding and a mini clothes line.

Children will enjoy some sensory play with water washing, bathing and drying dolls. They will also investigate sinking and floating and engage in different water based experiments.

Our construction group will be making vessels that can float on water using lego.

And finally the messy play group will all get to make pancakes from scratch and enjoy eating them too!
