6th Class began Maths Week by exploring non-standard units of measurement and estimation. Pupils measured how far they could throw a wellie, a ring buoy, and various weights, then compared distances using creative strides such as the cheetah stride and the mouse stride. It was an engaging, practical introduction to measurement in action.
