Buddy Maths with Senior Infants where we played mathematical games on the school ipads.
We did maths stations in class between the breaks with the following:
- Coding with Artie 3000 our coding Art robot and class pet
- We looked at Mandala symmetry and completed designs
- We polled the class about their favourite things and made graphs to show the info
- We made buildings looking at 3D shapes
- We used tessellating 2D shapes to make tangrams of different animals and shapes
On Friday, instead of tests, we did a smartie Maths. We each got a box of smarties and tried to figure out the chance and probability of what was in each box (Then we ate them.)
