Senior Infants have been exploring the theme of ‘The Garden Centre and Spring’ in Aistear for the past couple of weeks. We have really enjoyed this theme. We even got to plant our very own nasturtiums! We have been engaging in socio-dramatic play set in ‘The Garden Centre’, small world play, soil play, creating ‘stained glass butterflies’ and 3D paper flowers in arts and crafts, as well as, building our very own garden centres out of Lego and Magnatiles!
