Over 500 children from eight schools from around the Diocese took part in the recent Children’s Choral Festival in St. Canice’s Cathedral. The school’s involved were St. Mary’s, Templemore, Carlow N.S., St. Columbas, Tullow, St. Mary’s N.S., Bagenalstown, Shillelagh N.S., Stratford Lodge N.S., Kiltegan N.S., and The Model School.

The theme this year was “Caring for God’s Creation”. Phillip McKinley spoke to the children and the Church collection on the day went to Down Syndrome Ireland.
